Terms of Service

1. Description of the service

TeamBase is an online platform for video game players — teams, finding teammates, communication, guilds, LifeGraph, Journey, stats and community features. The service is provided free of charge — we charge nothing for using the platform. We may change features over time.

2. Age and registration

• The service is intended for people aged 16 and over; younger users (under 16) only with parental/guardian consent.
• You provide truthful information at registration. One person = one account.
• At registration you confirm your agreement to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

3. Account and security

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your password confidential. Sharing login credentials is prohibited. Report any suspected misuse to us without delay.

4. Code of conduct

The following are prohibited, in particular:

• toxic, hateful, racist or otherwise discriminatory speech;
• harassment, threats or bullying;
• sharing others' personal data without consent (doxxing);
• cheating, exploiting bugs, bots or unauthorized automation;
• spam or unsolicited advertising;
• impersonating another person or an administrator;
• illegal, violent or otherwise harmful content.

These rules apply to all content in the service — including comments, chat messages and posts. Inappropriate behavior and comments may lead up to an account ban. Depending on the severity of the violation, this may mean a warning, mute, temporary suspension or a permanent account ban.

5. Your content and license

Content you upload or create (avatar, banner, posts, messages) remains yours. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license necessary to operate the service — to store, display and make your content available within the platform to the relevant users. You warrant that your content does not infringe third-party rights or laws.

6. Reporting and moderation

You can report infringing content or behavior directly in the app. We review reports and may take appropriate action. For more on access to communication content see the Privacy Policy.

Notices of illegal content under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act, DSA) may also be sent to support@teambase.lol, which serves as our point of contact for users and authorities. The platform is operated by a micro-enterprise. When we take a moderation measure against your content or account (e.g. mute, temporary restriction, suspension or ban), we inform you with a statement of reasons.

7. Third parties

The service displays game metadata from RAWG and allows optional linking of Steam, Riot Games and Battle.net accounts. Use is also subject to those providers' terms. Third-party trademarks and content belong to their owners.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Terms, threats to the safety of the service or others, or where required by law. After termination we handle data per the Privacy Policy.

9. Availability and changes

We strive to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or 100% uptime. We may update these Terms; we will notify you of material changes in advance (usually at least 14 days) with a new version and effective date.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties beyond mandatory legal provisions.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. The service is provided free of charge — you pay us nothing for it — so our total liability is limited to the fullest extent the law allows for a service provided free of charge. This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally, nor to death or personal injury. Mandatory consumer rights are not affected.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic; disputes are handled by the competent courts of the Slovak Republic. This does not affect a consumer's right to turn to consumer protection authorities.
